Yeah, you definitely can use addictive drums - You can use one of 2 methods:
Shift + drag the pattern from the right side menu to your DAW grid - this will export a midi file for you to use with any instrument you like.
Route addictive drums midi input as Beat Scholar, and turn off the sampler in Beat Scholar by opening the preset menu and clicking "Sampler" - you will see the sounds section turning off.
Regarding your 2nd question - You can import drum sounds by dragging and dropping files onto the kit pads (little drum icons on the lower left)
This will also work with longer loops but we have no method (yet) to tempo sync them or quantize them.
You can record audio from Beat Scholar, but I'm afraid there's no way to record into beat scholar yet. If that's what you meant.
